How does the new collection ad format work?

This new ad format features an image, video, a slideshow or a group of linked product images from your store feed as a collection.

How to setup the new collection ad format?

The first thing you need to know is in order to set the collection format, you need first to create a product catalog and have a product feed from your products. No worries, here is how to do that.

After you do, the process is a piece of cake.

No, really.

1. Pick from Power Editor or Ads Manager either the Conversions or Traffic Objectives.

2. On the ad level, select the “Collections” format option. It will be the last option on the slider, assuming you have it as is rolling out to all countries.

Select the Collections Format

3. Choose an image, video or slideshow. This will appear above the product images. It will be the main focus on your collection ad.

4. Include the product set. This will be the feed broken down into segment below your main focus image, video or slideshow.
